Responsibilities include:

• Perform skilled window, door, and framing installations per project specifications and drawings.
• Execute removal and replacement of windows, doors, and framing components with minimal disruption to existing structures.
• Diagnose existing conditions of openings and make necessary adjustments to accommodate new installations.
• Apply specialized techniques and site protection to preserve finishes and ensure a clean, warrantied final product.
• Identify and report issues such as structural damage, rot, or unexpected field conditions to project leads.
• Follow all manufacturer specifications and industry best practices to maintain performance standards and warranty coverage.
• Assist with site preparation, layout, structural adjustments, and custom installation details as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain high-quality workmanship, jobsite cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.
• Operate power tools, saws, lifts, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Support the Foreman with material tracking, measurements, layout, and technical troubleshooting.
• Communicate clearly with clients and other trades on-site regarding expectations, adjustments, and project outcomes.
• Basic framing knowledge is required, including the ability to:
  • Read and interpret framing plans and construction drawings
  • Frame walls, floors, roofs, and window/door openings to specification
  • Tie in framing to existing structures with accuracy and code compliance
  • Use levels, lasers, and layout tools to ensure square, plumb, and true results
  • Understand lumber types, framing connectors, and fastener schedules
• Finish and trim carpentry experience is a strong plus!
